Which Sydney region does each Clean Best service cover?

Clean Best runs twelve cleaning services, each aimed at the Sydney region whose building stock generates it. Commercial cleaning is written for Parramatta and Western Sydney. Office cleaning covers the North Shore office belt — North Sydney, Chatswood, St Leonards. Warehouse cleaning serves the Eastern Creek and Erskine Park distribution estates. Strata cleaning covers the Inner West and North Shore walk-ups.

Medical centre cleaning is aimed at the Macquarie Park precinct and the Hurstville medical strip. Childcare cleaning covers the western growth corridor. Home cleaning is written for the Inner West terrace belt. Carpet cleaning serves the North Shore. Gym cleaning covers the Surry Hills and Alexandria studios. School cleaning covers the Sutherland Shire. End of lease cleaning is aimed at the Mascot and Rockdale apartment towers, and church cleaning at the parishes, mosques and temples of Parramatta and Blacktown.

Every region is still serviced for every job — the regions above are where each page is written, not the limit of where the crew goes. All services are quoted after a free on-site walkthrough, with the price fixed in writing within 24 hours and no lock-in contract.

The twelve

Pick the job that is closest to yours

Each card names the part of Sydney it is written for. If your site is a hybrid — a clinic inside an office tower, a gym under a strata block — pick the closest and we will scope the whole premises as one job.

Getting started

The same four steps for every one of them

Whether it is a bond clean on a Newtown terrace or a nightly round through a Barangaroo floor, the process from first call to first shift does not change.

  1. 1

Describe the site on the phone

Suburb, building type, rough floor area, and the access window. Four facts and we already know which crew and which run it belongs to.

  2. 2

We come and look — for free

Usually inside 48 hours. We want to see the site the way our cleaner will see it: end of day, bins full, kitchen used, dock closing.

  3. 3

    Fixed price, in writing

Within 24 hours of the walk. Split into what happens every visit, weekly, and quarterly, so you can see exactly what you are buying.

  4. 4

    Your cleaner starts

Inducted on your building's access procedure, police-checked, and the same face every visit. A supervisor audits the site monthly.

The difference

What you get regardless of which service you book

  • Already out west, not on the far side of the city

Our yard is on Columbia Rd in Seven Hills, in the Blacktown council area. The M4 is close and the M2 is reachable up the Prospect Highway, which keeps Blacktown, Parramatta, Norwest and the western industrial estates within an easy run of the door, and lets a crew get into the CBD ahead of the morning peak. When a client calls about a spill, somebody can actually get there.

  • One named cleaner, not an agency roster

The person who cleans your site is the same person next week. They learn which lift is booked out on Tuesdays, which bin room floods, and which staff kitchen turns by Thursday. A rotating pool never learns any of it, and the standard slides by month three.

  • Rostered around Sydney, not around a template

Dawn runs for gyms, before-bell rounds for schools, twilight slots where after-hours access is impossible, and overnight crews for CBD floors. We build the schedule backwards from your access window and the traffic between us and it.

  • Police-checked, and WWCC where the law requires it

Nobody from Clean Best sets foot on a Sydney site without a police check and a site induction done first. Anyone working in a school, an early-learning centre or any premises children use also holds a current Working with Children Check, and we will show you the numbers.

  • $20m public liability behind every shift

Public liability cover and workers compensation for everyone on the roster. Sydney building managers almost always want the certificates of currency before your cleaner is allowed near a lift, so we send them to them directly rather than making you the middleman.

  • A rolling agreement, not a three-year contract

Thirty days notice either way, and no exit fee. If we stop earning the work you can end it, which is the only guarantee that means anything. It also means we have to keep turning up properly in month nine, not just in month one.

FAQ

Choosing a cleaning service, region by region

The questions people ask when they are staring at a list of twelve things and are not sure which one their building needs.

Can one cleaning company really do all twelve of these jobs well?

Only if it staffs them separately, which is the whole point. The person who scrubs a warehouse floor on a ride-on machine is not the person who disinfects a dental suite, and neither of them is the person your childcare centre needs at 7pm. We run separate crews with separate training and separate equipment, and we say no when a job is outside what we actually do. A cleaning company that claims one crew can do everything is telling you something about its standards.

Which service do I choose if my site is a mix of things?

Pick the closest one and we will sort it out at the walkthrough. Plenty of Sydney sites are hybrids — a medical suite inside an office tower, a gym in the basement of a strata block, a warehouse with a two-floor office attached at the front. We scope the whole premises as one job with one price, and the different areas simply get the method each one needs. You do not need to break it into pieces before you call.

Do you handle one-off jobs, or only ongoing contracts?

Both. Bond cleans, post-builder cleans, carpet extraction and pre-inspection deep cleans are one-off by nature and we do them constantly. Offices, strata schemes, clinics and warehouses are usually ongoing. There is no requirement to convert a one-off into a schedule, and we do not price the one-off punitively to push you into one. Some of our longest-running Sydney clients started with a single carpet job.

What is not on this list that you can still do?

Quite a bit. Pressure washing driveways and bin bays, hard-floor stripping and sealing, window cleaning at reachable heights, post-construction cleans, upholstery and mattress work, and rubbish removal all get bolted onto existing schedules regularly. If you are unsure, describe the job on the phone. If it is genuinely outside what we do — high-rise abseiling, hazardous waste, kitchen exhaust ducting — we will tell you that instead of learning on your building.

Do I get one invoice if I book several services?

Yes. A Sydney office that also books quarterly carpet extraction and a monthly window round gets one schedule, one supervisor and one consolidated invoice, not three relationships. The same applies to multi-site clients with premises in different parts of Sydney: different crews do the work, because they belong to different regional runs, but you deal with one contact and one bill.

How do prices for cleaning services in Western Sydney get worked out?

From the walkthrough, never from a rate card. We look at floor area, foot traffic, surface types, how hard the site is to get into, and how often you need us — then we put a fixed figure in writing within 24 hours. No dollar figure appears anywhere on this site because any number quoted before somebody has seen your bin room is a guess, and a guess is what turns into a variation invoice later.

Why is each service page written around a different region?

Because the building stock is different and so is the job. Warehouses are in Eastern Creek and Erskine Park, not the CBD. Dense strata is in the Inner West and on the North Shore. The medical clusters sit around Macquarie Park and Hurstville. Writing a warehouse page about the CBD would be dishonest and useless, so each of our twelve pages is aimed at the part of Sydney whose buildings actually generate that work. If your site sits outside the region named on a page, we still cover it — call and we will tell you which run it belongs to.
