Terms of service
These terms govern the use of cleanbestsydney.com.au and the cleaning work Clean Best performs across Sydney. Your written quote and scope document sit on top of them, and where the two disagree, the written quote wins.
Using this website
The content here is general information about the cleaning services Clean Best provides in Sydney. It is written carefully and kept current, but it is not a contract and it is not professional advice about your particular building. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance — the only binding document is the written quote and scope we issue after a site walkthrough.
Quotes and pricing
No price appears anywhere on this website, deliberately. Every job is quoted after a free on-site walkthrough and the figure is confirmed in writing within 24 hours of that visit. A quote is valid for 30 days. The price is fixed for the scope described in it, and it does not move unless you ask us to change the scope — in which case we will re-quote in writing before doing the extra work, never afterwards.
Scheduling and access
The roster we agree depends on the access we are given: dock times, lift bookings, alarm codes, key safes, security sign-in and any restriction your building or strata scheme imposes. If access changes or is withdrawn without notice and our cleaner cannot get in, the visit may be treated as attended. Sydney traffic and building constraints mean we commit to a window rather than an exact minute — what we do commit to is that the work is complete before your premises reopen.
The agreement, and ending it
Ongoing cleaning runs on a rolling agreement with 30 days written notice on either side and no exit fee. There is no lock-in term. One-off work such as a bond clean, a carpet extraction or a post-builder clean is a single engagement and ends when the job is signed off.
If the work is not right
Tell the supervisor whose number you hold, within a reasonable time of the visit. If a task inside the agreed scope was missed or done poorly we will return and rectify it at no charge, usually the next business day. For end of lease cleaning specifically, if the agent’s final inspection raises an item that was inside our scope, we return and re-clean it free — see that page for how the re-clean window works.
Your obligations
Keep the site reasonably safe and accessible for our cleaners, tell us about hazards, and secure valuables, cash and confidential documents. Our cleaners do not move paperwork, open drawers or handle personal belongings. Where the work requires it, provide the access credentials we agreed at the walkthrough, and let us know in advance if they change.
Insurance and liability
Clean Best carries $20m public liability public liability cover and workers compensation for everyone on the roster, and we will supply certificates of currency to you or directly to your building manager. If we damage something, we lodge it. To the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to re-performing the work or the cost of doing so, and nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Invoicing
Invoices are issued on the cycle stated in your quote and are payable on the terms shown on the invoice. Where you book several services — say a nightly office round plus quarterly carpet extraction — they are consolidated onto one invoice rather than billed separately.
Governing law and contact
